As it does every year, the “Taste Atlas” service, a renowned picker of the world’s delicacies, has released its rankings of the culinary globe. And while the most well-known of them are rankings of the greatest restaurants, this year’s list of the best desserts in the world is particularly well-known.

The highest, Sernik (Polish cheesecake) took second place. Sękacz came in sixth, followed by Karpatka in ninth, Marcinek in eleventh, Kremówka in fourteenth, and Piernik (gingerbread) in last – (35th place).
